Let’s break it down. First off, Thug’s vocal melodies and cadences are off the fucking charts. Dude is one of the most innovative, versatile voices we’ve heard in a very, very long time. Durk continues to show a keen ear for melody and one of the smoothest flows on the planet. It’s all held together by a twinkling Young Chop banger. It’s been magnificent to watch the young Chicago native develop his sound from the nihilistic boom of drill to the harmonically developed, multi-faceted portfolio he’s cultimating. Simply put, this is the sound of three very talented young artists, who are (hopefully) just about to enter their prime.
