Vondelpark has always made eyes closed music. The young London-via-Surrey trio first arrived on my earbuds via two delicious, dreamy EPs — 2010’s Sauna and 2011’s nyc stuff and nyc bags — and though their first single presents a slightly less hazy sound, it feels like the group are picking up right where they left off. “I have no time for myself” is the line that sticks out most, and when Lewis Rainsbury delivers it in his mournful, James Blake-ish voice, it certainly hits close to home. A good bet to be one of the standouts of 2013’s first quarter.
